Then Play On!

Monz checks out some new music thrown his way while dining on a home-made mashup of beans and tofu-meat, peppers & carrots over cornbread, a veggie kielbasa on wheat bun and a honeycrisp apple. He had comments.
Comments:
don't write this down -- i have a cold, not witty, not worth writing down.

earl please respect the meat - i've seen this on video, nice groove to it, surprisingly good, ultimately ruined by the unfunny voiceover, let the dude sing about the (effin) crabs and shit

then the complicaitons start...

(wait for it) this kinda cute tune, fakey fake l.a. process of bluegrass -- she's singing wait for it, wait for it, and it sounds like she's some sort of fundamentalist then i do some research and i discover she is a lesbian singing about some chick

army-navy omg, i've never heard such overproduced guitar in my life, smacks of one of the lowest forms of pandering to what some sixty year old la douchebag thinks kids want to listen to - to think of it in watergate terms it was non-rock rock

grooy ghoulies -- they've got a great name but it's a really bad tune

n. beddingfield -- so, of course, it starts out with a (effin') machine and drugs. I'm (effin) sick of sassy attitudes, it's this kind of mindset that has absolutlely doomed the world...this you've poluted this planet so bad that none of us can live. this sassiness, the way children have been raised the last 20 years -- this embodies that psychopathic mindset

stacey clark -- one of the most middle of the road tunes i've ever heard, i don't even it call it a song, i call it product.

(ME -- that was my favorite song)You really don't love music anymore.

black kids -- every year we apprarently are going to have a new contest -- predict which crappy band du jour, this is this year's corrine bailey rae

wed. night heroes - this is one of the closest things to rock and roll on this, flawed by a couple of things, they are not the clash

1990's -- ok, best tune i think, really nice guitar marred by voice, interesting chord changes so it wins. it's no dodgy

cliff hills used to be the man -- um, i probably could have come up witha witty one-liner, more computerized drums, why bother

dean reed - hummingbird -- this years vintage sounding, dunno if it is, but too much singing.

little pieces - candy stairs i cannot discuss this without discussing pete and the pirates -- zoned me out costing me valuable billable hours -- really monotonous and then they were over. the reaeson i knew they were ovver was b/c...

marving gaye's sad tomorrows shows up. better, but no classic.

juliana hatfield - my baby, interesting choice, i don't know why you picked this

now here is where the tuse tape gets really interesting - from here on out.

devendra b. - now that i know. alright, i don't know why what evil sprite got inside the tuse that would make him put any song of d.b. on something other people would listen to. do you think people should turn onto this b/c it's good or do you hate people. "my G-d, why?"

matrix - broken. um, anonymous pop crap, theme from some cw/upn teen show.

thisis where i realize this is a personal message of hatred...to me.

serj tankian -- ok, you should know how the monz feels about serj, you should know that i hate everything about serj

lupe fiasco -- um, i don't have any words to describe this but here's my comment (sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh).

faster pussycat -- um, everybody has heard of this bad, not many have actually listened to them -- now i can say i have listened to them and i'm stunned at how overrated they are -- hanson or the jonas brothers

alana davis -- upbeat, happy little song, not a bad singer
