The Price of Yummy Is Eternal Vigillance!  

Two original Hans spicy cilatnro chicken brats (and, due to the lack of egg, possibly a Welshire Farms(TM) turkey sausage). The label says "taste the world in just one bite." But then the label also says "no nitrates or nitrites." What, the world doesn't have nitrates or nitrites in it? So how can you be tasting the world in that bite? It'd be a nitrate/nitrite-less world. And these compounds definitely affect the taste of foods. Hey, Hans, bite that!

We don't know what threw us more: the 2 Weisswurst brats? The editors didn't even recognize this hot haut brat. Aparently it's a traditional Bavarian sausage made from very finely minced veal and fresh pork back bacon. But the next word from Monz trhew us back even more: prasley!

Jackie Mason (born Yacov Moshe Maza) and Don McNeil (born Don McNeil) were born in Sheboygan, WI. Little did they know that one day that would be the style of the brats that served as Monz' lunch! And we have it on good authority that both Jack/Yack and Don have consumed a hard boiled egg or two in their lives, also a part of today's Monz lunch. Spooky!

Lunch Dump! 

It's all hands on deck for a lunch report dump! Penultimate yesterday, Monz headed to the Hard Rock Cafe for a quality smokehouse chop salad, with ink on the wall almost as good as Monz' collection. Yesterday Monz pretended to be a parrothead with a shrimp, crab and lobster salad. "Mayonnaissey and touristy. The antithesis of this blogs first entry. Hunger is a monster, y'all, kinda like the funky cold madina. Today it was Deck 84 for some power-sailing conch chowder and crab cakes. Monz pronounced it as yum. And it may have looked like this:

Monz: I have a lunch report! Got a pen?
MYL: Ready!
Monz: Two chicken sun-dried tomato sausages - no name, I got them at Dominicks.
MYL: Do you think there are real sun-dried tomatoes in there?
Monz: Well, there's definitely specks of something in here. So I'm pretty sure it's mouse parts or sun-dried tomatoes.
